The classic Lemsteraak AALTJE from EMDEN has a new owner!

A new chapter for the ‘Aaltje von Emden’.

We say goodbye to a very special ship with a tear in our eye and a smile on our face: the Lemsteraak ‘Aaltje von Emden’ has found her new owner through us.

After an intensive familiarisation phase, she is now setting sail - across the Wadden Sea towards Horumersiel, her new home port. This is exactly where she belongs: In the wide, shallow waters for which she was once built.

Lemsteraken are more than just boats - they are floating history. In the past they served fishermen and traders, today they inspire with their charm and seaworthiness. The ‘Aaltje von Emden’ is one such piece of tradition that is now passing into loving hands.
